We thought we were free of them and actually grateful Canada took them... but when it sounds too good to be true it usually is and the Crazy Quaids are back.

We've heard of them telling judges and lawyers they thought people were following them trying to kill them. They even gave the imaginary group a name! "Star Whackers"! They even mentioned writing a book about this sneaky group...but alas you won't have to bother to read it because straight from the minds of Evi and Randy Quaid comes Star Whackers, The Movie.

According to an official release, the documentary (yes we said DOCUMENTARY) chronicles their escape from Hollywood and the "star whackers". Evi announced their "docu-drama" in the following statement:

“This is a work in progress and highly experimental with nudity, adult language and content throughout. For the first time I would like an audience reaction to my art as a work in progress, so I may understand its content through other eyes.”

So....was this whole thing real in their minds or not...because she just called it art however they actually used this as an excuse to not show up in court.

If you're interested in seeing this art pice, it will premiere on April 22 at the Rio Theatre, along with a screening of Real Time, the last "real" film Randy was in. But that's not all! Houston's favorite "Crazy" son is at it again with his equally odd wife.

Randy and Evi Quaid were arrested in Vancouver after police discovered that the couple were wanted on several outstanding warrants in the U.S. for failing to show up in court.

And now the couple is asking for refuge in Canada because they feel they are being persecuted in the U.S. and may be "murdered" under suspicious circumstances. (Have you heard the Green Day song Paranoia?? Cause it's running throuhg our heads right now)

During their immigration hearing, they have asked to seek asylum so that they can escape "Hollywood star whackers" who they believe murdered David Carradine and Heath Ledger.

These two can't be serious!!

To make things even more unbelievable, Quaid says he did not go to Canada to escape the warrants, but instead was considering relocating to Vancouver to restart his career. During the hearing, he replied, "I love Canada. It's been a very welcoming nation to me. I would not do anything to besmirch my reputation."

Too late, buddy!

OOPS...Paging Dennis Quaid...Can you get your brother to act normally or are you avoiding him like the rest of Hollywood??

Texas's latest fav train wreck couple Randy and Evi Quaid apparently don't care if they go to jail or not because they have missed their scheduled court date AGAIN!! This time they were sue in for defrauding an innkeeper. Between yesterday and today there have been two missed dates and their lawyer, Robert Sanger, was left dangle in the air alone with a severely hacked off Judge and DA!

According to sources, Sanger plead in vain with the Quaids on the phone this morning to show up but when they failed to appear, Judge Frank J. Ochoa issued a bench warrant for their arrest!

Honestly, if you are going to be dumb you've gotta be tough and DISH says they should pay for their bad behaviour!

Ah...the strange joy that comes from watching crazy people! Thank you Randy and Evi!

Ok it may be pretty clear to most judges by now that these two aren't going to learn their lesson until a little jail time has been served.

Randy and Evi Quaid were due in court in early December for the fourth time and didn't show up — AGAIN!

Their lawyer tried to have the judge hold the bench warrant for two weeks, he declined and issued two arrest warrants for each of them at $40,000 apiece.

They posted $20,000 bail last time they failed to show up in court and signed a promise that they would appear on December 15, which they have obviously broken.

So....How much longer will this pathetic story go on?

Mainly because he keeps breaking the law. This throws a small wrench in most people's plans....i'm just sayin'. As we've been telling you, the elder Quaid and his wife have been running into/from depending on how you look at it...trouble lately.

The latest in the saga comes in where the couple were remodeling their only piece of property in Marfa, Texas, which is a converted warehouse. However, a Cease and Desist sign has been placed out front because the twosome failed to get the proper construction permits from the city.

Now are they just ignorant to how things work in the real world or do they really think they are just better than and able to just do whatever they want?  Apparently Randy gets a sizable check for about half a million dollars every August in residuals, most likely for airings of the National Lampoon movies.

So remind us why they couldn't pay the hotel bills or the minimal fees required for the permits to do construction work?
