DISH is disappointed in FOX news tonight. They actually took time to sensationalize the correlation between lip gloss and skin cancer. WHAT??? First they said the glossy kind will intensify the sun's rays on the skin possibly, key word, increasing the opportunity for skin cancer to form on the lips...THEN later in the story said very specifically so read closely now...."We would like to emphasize that there have been no studies showing that lip gloss increases your risk of skin cancer"

THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE STORY PLEASE??

Note to FOX...Any good lip gloss wearer already knows to wear gloss with SPF in it if you are going to be outside! DUH!

We had another very successful production meeting today!! We are sooooooo excited! This thing will be in pre-pro for a bit, but you have to plan so you can do it right!! =)

IT'S TRUE!! We really did get our own show today! It's in pre-pro right now!! While it's in the works, here is DISH'S fav part of all reality shows!! We may even find a way to work this famous line into our show...although it's not true in our case =)

Being a television reality show producer...people don't believe DISH when we tell them pretty much the entire thing is created...

In a press release Tuesday, Viacom executives announced their newest hour-long VH1 Celebreality program, Knight Life, with former Brady Bunch star Christopher Knight, has been canceled for failing to reach the wretched depths of the network's low standards. "Despite some really excellent footage of Christopher vomiting into his hot tub, Knight Life was just not pitiful enough to meet our audience's expectations," Viacom president and CEO Philippe Dauman said of the show, which only featured three unsuccessful attempts to hit on strippers, two drunken brawls, and a single midget. "Unfortunately, the program lacked the petty and reprehensible acts that demean all humanity and make for good, compelling television." Dauman added that VH1 would consider bringing the show back if Knight were to become so distraught by the cancellation that he had to be hospitalized for an unsuccessful suicide attempt.

You know, as much as DISH misses Tim Russert, and we do....deeply...Brian Williams did an alright job today, albeit obviously democratically slanted. That part was disappointing. Sundays will never be the same.

It was also reported this morning that Tom Brokaw will be in the moderator's chair through the elections. We will hold out for judgment.

Did anyone notice yesterday while reporting on the wall collapse on the Rice University campus how calloused it all came off? The collapse happened on a construction site for a dorm during the bad weather killing one person and injuring 7 others. What rubbed us funny was the way they sad it. "No students were hurt, but one person was killed and 7 others were injured."

Like the life of a student is some how more important than that of a construction worker. Or the story would have been more tragic if a student had been hurt or killed. What has our world come to that our local news has become so sensationalized that they would actually say that! DISH realizes that was not the implication, but the fact that it came out of their mouths at all is just sick.

"Surreal' is how one person described this scenic rainbow which appeared over D.C. just as the funeral services for Tim Russert concluded, which included a rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". In the photographer's words:

This is probably one of the most surreal experiences I have ever had in my life. 10 minutes after the memorial at the Kennedy Center ended and the acoustic version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" came on as people were leaving, I heard people outside of my apartment in DC on their balconies. I ran out to discover this full rainbow over the National Cathedral! It had to have covered the entire city of DC. There is no doubt in my mind that it was from Tim Russert himself. The weird thing is it didn't rain all day and then it rained for about 3 minutes after the memorial ended only to stop and create this beautiful scene. I want NBC to share this with EVERYONE!
