Talk about calling things into your existence!! We were just informed that our future boyfriend Lance Armstrong and our favorite naked bongo player Matthew Mcconaughey will be at the Woozyfly.com/Z Z Top/Hard Rock Cafe event tonight... WITH US!!! We are so excited...what are we going to wear???

So that 'Chew doesn't feel left out, he WAS a future ex boyfriend at one point, but he got all involved with some girl and they are having a baby now and we just can't break that up...not that we could, have you seen her?? GORGEOUS!!

DISH was taking the fur children out for the last pee of the night and noticed there were flashing lights down near Memorial. WELL...being the nosey DISH that we are, we had to go check it out! As we got closer we noticed the street was closed off and it was remarkably quiet. (A very nice change) We asked the nice cop why the streets were closed and why all of these people were riding their bikes up and down Memorial Drive. It was the 2008 Moonlight Ride benefiting the Houston Police Association. Everyone was so nice and having such a good time! We went back to the house, got a pitcher of water for folks and the camera! People of all ages were riding, even some cute little 5 year olds! We made friends and got bitten my mosquitoes. All in all it was a really fun evening! DISH'S future bike riding boyfriend Lance Armstrong was not there, but he's probably still spending time with his latest small breasted, blond haired girl, Kate Hudson. Just as well, we are really too busy for him now anyway....Pics of the event to come tomorrow, it's bed time now =)

Oscar nominated actress and activist Debra Winger is speaking tonight at the Museum of Fine Arts. She's promoting her book and talking about considering getting back into acting...part for over 40's with no surgery. no kidding...her words!

There are the regular products that started with salad dressing, but there is an organic line and an organic pet food line as well! and have been since day one, but ALL of the proceeds go to charity! Paul Newman has always been a class act! When people are in a position to have a lot of money we always hear stories about them living extravagantly, but Mr. Newman has stayed down to earth and found a way to be good to the earth as well as the people that live on it.

Reports are saying  the legendary actor turned over the entire value of his ownership in Newman’s Own to charity!!! The turnover was completed over a two-year period in 2005 and 2006.The total amount of his donations to Newman’s Own Foundation Inc. comes to $120 million. The source also reports that the actor personally gave away $8,746,500 in 2006 to a variety of groups that support children, hurricane relief in the Gulf Coast, education and the arts.

Why can't everyone in Hollywood be like him? Not just Hollywood but all over! This reminds me of the Continental CEO and President!

There are also stories swirling that Paul may be suffering from lung cancer, there are contrasting reports and the most recent and most cryptic was from Paul himself and he simply said, "he's doing nicely". We hope he continues to do "nicely" for many years to come. DISH loves Paul Newman!!!  Bless you, Paul!!

Houston Rocket's Yao Ming is giving back. He's the nicest, most real one on the team!!

The Houston Rockets center created a foundation with a $2 million donation to rebuild schools devastated by last month's earthquake in his native China. Yao said the Yao Ming foundation will help raise funds to build earthquake-resistant schools in China.

"As everyone knows about the recent tragedy in China, the earthquake tragedy was the worst in history," Yao said. "For this reason, I am working to give back funds."

Since rebuilding will take many years, Yao also said he plans to make further donations and raise public awareness about the earthquake victims.

Why can't all pro ballers be like that?

YES! Eva Longoria headed back to the Wendy's where she worked back in the day in Corpus Christi to raise funds for the Dave Thomas Foundation! You know...DISH finds that VERY cool! Glad to know it was for charity and not because the writer's strike took a hunk out of her pocketbook!

After more than 50 years since Miss Ima Hogg generously donated Bayou Bend and her collection of American decorative arts and paintings to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, a groundbreaking ceremony was held today for the Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center adjacent to the Bayou Bend estate in River Oaks. The 25,000-square-foot
visitor and education center will realize Miss Hogg's vision by enriching and expanding Bayou Bend's public programs and outreach to the Houston community and beyond. In addition to the building, the $25 million campaign includes funds for endowment, property, and special projects. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
