DeVille Finally has a Villa

DeVille Fine Jewelry opened the doors of its Houston-based jewelry salon December 19! It was a special, exclusive event for private clients and media and the preview was DeVine!  The invitation-only event showcased the DeVille Fine Jewelry collection, comprised of one-of-kind precious and semi-precious pieces from across the globe, made available for open-air viewing to the special guests in the crowd.

DeVille president and CEO, Liz Glanville, personally invited each guest to the storefront launch.

“The opening of our DeVille Fine Jewelry salon arose as an extension of client demand and our growing community presence.  DeVille Fine Jewelry provides a personal, one-on-one opportunity for each of our clients to select an existing design or create an original fine jewelry piece that will complement his or her personal preferences and collection.  DeVille Fine Jewelry is also pleased to be part of the Houston economic and business community,” Glanville said.

The beautiful and accomplished Glanville holds an undergraduate degree from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and a University of Houston MBA. She brings more than twenty years experience in the luxury goods industry to her unique private client concept.  After serving in executive and management roles with Cartier, Ashford.com, and Bulgari, Glanville established DeVille Fine Jewelry in 2008.

Houston’s hottest jewelry fans socalized as they relaxed on the salon’s European stainless steel and leather sofas surrounded by soaring arrangements of calla lilies and the most amazing one of a kind art pieces made specifically for the De Ville Salon. Guests toasted the new space as they sipped and nibbled on Jackson + Co. menu offerings at DeVille’s hand-hewn granite champagne bar.

Joining Liz and Tom Glanville, along with their beautiful children, were Gracie and Bob Cavnar, Sherron Melton, Caroline and Gary Kenney, Eleanor Kenney, Bryce Kennard, Laura and John Spalding,  Laurel and Tim Blando, Gabriella Dror, Miya Shay, Isabel and Danny David, Jacqueline Baly Chaumette, Sonia Soto, Beth Younger, Lori Freese, Holly Williamson, Jan Sparks, Michael Snodgrass, Robin and Marshall Rosenberg, Nancy and  Bob Peiser, Sharin and Scott Gaille, and Maryanne and David McKeithan.

The new DeVille Fine Jewelry space was designed by a team that included DeGeorge Design, Tuttle Development, and Wendt Design Group, who worked together to create the perfect DeVille Fine Jewelry client experience.  The salon features original installations like the colossal hand-made art-deco mirror, perfect for viewing the DeVille Star Sapphire Necklace or signature “DeVille“ drop earrings.

“The DeVille team wanted to create a warm space for client networking and socializing, while still providing a clean, minimalist backdrop upon which to view the DeVille Fine Jewelry collection,” DeVille Fine Jewelry CEO Glanville said.

DeVille Fine Jewelry, located at 5700 Woodway, Suite 250. Monthly, invitation-only trunk shows, private client events and one on one shopping is available upon request.
