Celebrating Gayby

There is something beautiful about celebrating a new little life! Just the mention of a baby brings joy, visions of a hopeful future and of course...SHOPPING for the cutest little, tiny clothes!! There is a very special baby coming to Houston and her name is Estelle Lillian Burrus-Pearce and her proud fathers are Michael Pearce and Matt Burrus!

They had an amazing celebration at one of DISH'S favorite spaces Philippe! They closed this place down, provided bites, drinks and everything was PINK! The way Matt and Michael announced the name they've chosen...which are both of the gentlemen's mother's middle names! What a very special tribute!...is custom made t-shirts with the sonogram of the baby and her name on them! They greeted their guests wearing the t-shirts with fake pregnancy bellies! So creative!

This amazing event was hosted by Marina Pearce, sister of Michael/host, Michelle Burrus Fuller, sister of Matt/host, and Gail Brown, our “sistah”/host. The guest list was Houston's top media players and shiney glitteratti! Cindi and Erica Rose, Monsour Taghdisi, who became a dad late last year, Kim Davis (Channel 2), Deborah Duncan (Channel 11), HAR President and CEO Bob Hale and wife Susie, HAR Executive Vice President Rene Galvan and wife Malisa, Schlumberger Deputy General Counsel Dianne Ralston, Dr. Gary Kenney and wife Caroline, Houston Parks Director Joe Turner and wife Lynda, Barbara Keeling Steen, who along with husband Oil States International VP of Legal Jeff Steen welcomed their son, Lias Fletcher Steen, Monday (two days after attending the shower)  Joe Hinojosa, John Ray and new son Peyton Ray Hinojosa, Amanda Sutliff, future first-time mom, Holly Clapham-Rosenow, future first-time mom, Cara Frederick, future first-time mom, Laura Whitley (formerly Channel 13 and mom of 3 gorgeous boys) Carolyn Campbell (formerly Channel 11)

As much fun as the celebration was the really fun part is reading their Bayby Boom Blog on the Houston Chronicle. It's insiteful, hysterical, thought provoking and more than anything...an almost daily reason to celebrate some more! =)
