Saving the TaTas, One Ta at a Time
The Charity Chicks are up to a lot of GOOD!!!
One week has already passed since their BRAtober 16 event. 200 supporters attended the event and contributed to raising $10,675 for The Save the Ta-tas Foundation! They sent a HUGE THank you out to everyone who decorated a bra, volunteered at the event, bought a ticket or made a donation! If you didn't have the opportunity to attend the event but would like to make a donation in any amount to push them over the $11,000 mark, feel free to make a donation on their website by clicking the "DONATE" button in the left column.
THe word from the insiders is that those in attendance looked fabulous posing for pink carpet photos, enjoying cocktails and sweets, viewing the creative BRA ART and hopping in the photobooth for fun with pink props. Check out the photos of the bras, the party and the photobooth shots. (Photos courtesy of Monkey Tree Photography & Funky Monkey Photobooth) Congrats to People's Choice Award winners Rebecca Gale and Abby Pyle who created "Prettiest in Pink", and whose names will be on the final donation check to The Save the Ta-tas Foundation alongside Charity Chicks Houston!
They are challenging Houston to Keep up the pink spirit throughout the rest of the month! One of the ways you can do this is by telling any breast cancer survivors you know about the free wash & blowdry service being offered for survivors by Michael Saldana Salon for the rest of October.
BRAtober 16 would not have been possible without donations from generous partners, so check out the list and show these vendors some love (and patronage) when you get the chance.
