Ok not really. But it is a delicious story regardless of it's name! Bring your whole family for Johann Strauss's effervescent comedy, Die Fledermaus! Filled with waltzes and merriment, Die Fledermaus honors Opera in the Heights birthday by commemorating their very first performance fifteen years ago. In keeping with operetta tradition it will be performed entirely in English, so you'll only use the subtitles if you wish. Join your friends for a light-hearted fun-filled experience.

OIH has added a Sunday 2:00pm matinee show so you can be on to your next stop by 5:00pm. Since this is an added non-subscription performance, it offers the very best choice of seats. Don't delay--tickets are going fast.

You may purchase tickets on-line HERE or by phone at 713-861-5303 with prices ranging from $20 to $49, students $10 with ID. Seniors may purchase tickets for Thursday, Friday, and Sunday performances for $20 and $28 in selected areas. Performances are at Lambert Hall 1703 Heights Blvd on November 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30pm. The added matinee is Sunday November 7, 2010, at 2:00pm.

We are offering quality merchandise adorned with the beautiful illustrations of Robin Kachantones created exclusively for Opera in the Heights for each opera this season. There are coffee mugs, T-shirts (various colors), and 11" X 17.5" posters of each opera and one of the season poster.
