The Houston Centre for Contemporary Craft is having an opening Friday evening 5:30 - 8:00 4848 Main St.

OPENING WEEKEND EVENTS

**“Knitting a Rothko” Live Performance**
by "Unknitting" artist, Rachel Gomme
Thursday, July 16, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Friday, July 17, 4:00 – 8:00 PM

Stop by the Small Gallery to watch "Unknitting" performance artist, Rachel Gomme, knit a Mark Rothko-like piece on Thursday and Friday. The completed piece will be installed in the exhibit. Gomme has performed “Knitting a Rothko” all over the world.
