Perry Denies Pressure Tactic
Monday, September 14, 2009 at 12:33AM Gov. Rick Perry, or Governor Good Hair as DISH likes to call him... claims he had absolutely nothing do with Texas Tech regent Mark Griffin's decision to resign from the university's governing board.
Griffin has mentioned that he was pressured to step down last month by a former Perry aide after he endorsed Perry's rival, U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, in the Texas governor's race.
The Austin American-Statesman reported that Perry said he wasn't involved in the decision.
Perry told the newspaper that he didn't speak to anyone about Griffin resigning and that "we didn't have anything to do with it."
Guess we will just have to wait to see who talks next.
