This story is especially close to DISH'S heart for two reasons...One we used to work with Lisa Dimond Vasquez during our radio days at Clear Channel AND two, Lisa is a food allergy sufferer and took time out of her life to join us on Saturday for the FAAN walk! We will write about that later after we get the pics...but First things first!

The public relations team that consists of Lisa and her mother Margot Dimond was been named the #2 Fastest Growing Woman-Owned Business by the Houston Business Journal! This is HUGE!!!

Margot Dimond and Lisa Dimond Vasquez are the co-founders of DoubleDimond Public Relations which is a full-service public relations and marketing firm.  When asked what it was like working with the other their response was just as delightful as they are! They say it's really a perfect situation because you know exactly what to expect from each other.  

Margot and Lisa say people are often surprised to hear they are a mother/daughter business, which is not nearly as common as a father/son business, but as more and more women enter the workforce each year, Margot believes mother/daughter businesses will become much more common.

DISH is sooo proud of this big brained, strong, kind and hard working mother/daughter team we are just beside ourselves! We might have to come up with a special DISH award for them!

Under the DISH Favs Awards, we will start a new category: M/D's! =)
