H-Town Hero!!

Dr. DeBakey was hanging with the Pres. and his peeps earlier this week. The man known for literally fixing broken hearts received the Congressional Gold Medal! The Houston surgeon is a renowned figure in cardiovascular medicine. He pioneered such procedures as heart bypass and has invented medical devices to help heart patients. He's also recognized for developing the idea of battlefield mobile surgical hospitals that are known as MASH units
