History in the Making...Maybe

This 15 year old kid, Ryan Harrison, has won a match at The U.S. Men's Clay Court Champoinships at the River Oak Country Club. This makes Harrison the 10th player in history to win an Open Era match before his 16th birthday ever. The last player to do that was Rafael Nadal in Mallorca in 2002.

*He joins Gasquet (2002 Monte Carlo) and Nadal (2002 Mallorca) as they only players to win an ATP match before their 16th birthday in this decade.

*Harrison is the seventh youngest player to appear in an ATP Main Draw since 1990.
*He is the youngest ATP match winner since 1990.
I'm telling you...get your tickets and go at least one day this week! It's an amazing experience!

Did you see him play? I understand he is a serve and volleyer- not something one would routinely see on clay :p
