The Rat Pack
Tonight I have the great honor of being my friend Mark's birthday date for a night at the Sands! We are seeing the Rat Pack at the Hobby Centre after dinner at Artista! I will have a full review tomorrow. I have already heard it is an amazing show though! Buy your tickets now! It's showing thought March 23.
OH WOW!!! What a show! Stephen Triffitt who plays Frank Sinatra is brilliant! He has the attitude and movements down...but it's the voice that tops it off. His talent is undeniable and you will not regret seeing this show! Mark had the best birthday ever because we ate dinner at Artista in the Hobby Centre. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! What a meal...perfection in food.
That kicked off an evening of perfection. Mark LOVES Frank Sinatra so this show was perfect for him. Even he said Mr. Triffitt had Frank down pat. After the show, we met Mr. Triffitt at the stage door so Mark could have his pic taken with "Frank Sinatra". Mr. Triffit was so kind and enjoyable that we bought him a pint afterwards. We are taking him out again this evening. Back to the show...The guy that plays Sammy Davis Jr. is alright, keeps going in and out of the voice and can't tap dance. The guy that plays Dean Martin doesn't have any of it down and he's too short so it unfortunately took away a bit. I found out later he's the understudy. The guy that usually plays Dean is sick with the flu. When I say that Stephen Triffitt held that show...I mean it. All of that being said...it's still a really amazing show and you should NOT miss it!

Gonna have to make a point to see that one! Thanks for a good review!
My husband and I attended the opening show and it was amazing and very entertaining. Totally felt like we were back in time at the Sands Hotel. All the performers were great, it's one thing to look like them but when the personality and voice are almost identical it's amazing. Frankie's last song "I did it my way" made me cry, that was the best song to end the show.
